There is a collection of photos and images of old Basingstoke and area that are archived in the Local History Resources Room at the Willis Museum. Access to these archives for research purposes can be obtained by prior appointment by making an enquiry via email. The Local Resources Room is manned part-time by volunteer archivists.
A sample of these photos and images is given below. A number of the photographs in the archive were taken Terry Hunt, 1883-1949 a photographer who lived and worked in and around Basingstoke. He took many photos, some of which were available on postcards.
